Brow Micropigmentation Protocol

SEMI-PERMANENT COSMETIC BROW ENHANCEMENT

(MICROBLADING • POWDER / OMBRÉ • CORRECTION)

Brow micropigmentation is an advanced semi-permanent cosmetic procedure designed to enhance brow symmetry, structure, and definition through precise pigment implantation in the superficial layers of the skin.

This includes Microblading, Powder / Ombré Brows, and Brow Correction.

Unlike traditional body tattoos, brow micropigmentation is intentionally designed to soften and gradually fade over time due to natural skin renewal. Pigment retention varies depending on skin type, healing response, lifestyle, sun exposure, medications, and biological factors.

Before beginning the procedure, brows are professionally mapped and pre-drawn to confirm shape, thickness, and color selection. Pigments used are high-quality, hypoallergenic, and selected based on your individual skin tone and goals.

Microblading does not require shaving your natural brows and does not damage existing hair growth.

Topical anesthetic is used before and during the procedure to minimize discomfort. Most appointments take approximately 2–3 hours.

This is a regulated procedure performed under strict health and sanitation standards.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Immediately after treatment, brows will appear darker and slightly fuller than the final healed result.

• Brows may appear 20–40% darker during the first few days.
• Mild redness or minimal swelling may occur.
• Light flaking or scabbing may begin between days 3–5.
• Color may appear lighter during exfoliation — this is normal.
• Final healed results are evaluated at 4–6 weeks.

Pigment settles gradually as the epidermis becomes transparent again and healing completes.

                                                                  TREATMENT STRUCTURE

Brow micropigmentation is performed as a structured multi-stage protocol.

Stage 1 — Initial Session

Starting at $400 (technique-dependent)

• Brow mapping and facial symmetry design
• Pigment selection
• Initial pigment implantation

Stage 2 — Refinement Session (Recommended)

Performed only after complete healing.

This session allows evaluation of pigment retention, structural balance, and color refinement if necessary.

The refinement session must not be performed earlier than 6 weeks after the initial appointment.

Second Session & Timeframe Policy

Refinement session fees are determined by the time elapsed since your last appointment:

• 6 weeks – 6 months: $200
• 6 – 8 months: $300
• 8 – 12 months: $350
• After 12 months: Treated as a new procedure ($400)

Timeframes are calculated from the date of your last visit.

Additional Sessions (If Required)

While most clients complete their results within the standard two-session protocol, certain skin types may require additional refinement sessions.

Factors such as oily skin, previous pigment saturation, biological variability, immune response, or medication use may affect retention.

Any additional session within the established timeframe is $200 per visit and is determined through clinical evaluation.

Annual Maintenance

After completing the initial protocol:

• Annual maintenance (within 12 months of last session): $400
• After 12 months without maintenance: Treated as a new procedure ($400)

After 12 months, the treatment cycle resets.

Brow Correction / Cover-Up

Starting at $400 (technique-dependent) Approval Required Prior to Booking.

Clients with previous permanent makeup must submit clear photos before scheduling.

Eligibility is determined based on previous pigment saturation, structural balance, and skin condition. Not all previous work qualifies for correction.

Pre-Appointment Requirements (Before Care)

To ensure optimal results and reduce complications:

• Do not work out the day of the procedure
• Do not tan or arrive with a sunburned face
• Avoid alcohol 24 hours prior
• Avoid caffeine on the day of the procedure
• Avoid Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen 24 hours prior (unless medically prescribed)
• No waxing or tinting 3 days before
• Discontinue Retin-A / Tretinoin or exfoliating products 7 days prior
• Avoid Botox in the brow area 2 weeks prior
• Avoid scheduling beach vacations, swimming, or intense sun exposure within 10 days after treatment
• You may be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle

Failure to follow pre-care instructions may require rescheduling.

Aftercare Guidelines (First 10 Days)

Proper aftercare is essential for healing and pigment retention.

• No cleansers, creams, makeup, or other products on treated area for 5 days
• 4–5 hours after procedure, gently clean area with sterile water and gauze or cotton pad and allow to air dry
• Do not rub, scratch, or pick — allow scabbing to exfoliate naturally
• Avoid heavy sweating for 10 days
• Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 3–4 weeks
• No facials, Botox, chemical treatments, or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks
• Avoid sleeping on your face for 10 days

Detailed written aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment.

Healing Timeline (Approximate)

Days 1–2: Brows appear darker and more solid. Mild redness may be present.
Days 3–5: Light shedding begins. Do not scratch or pick.
Days 4–6: Exfoliation continues; color may appear lighter temporarily.
Weeks 4–6: Healing stabilizes and pigment settles.
Days 30–40: Appropriate time to evaluate healed results and determine refinement needs.

Long-Term Care

• Use sunscreen regularly — UV exposure accelerates fading
• Inform your technician before chemical peels, laser treatments, or MRI scans
• Retinol, Tretinoin, and frequent exfoliation on the forehead may cause premature fading
• Certain medications (including thyroid, anxiety medications, antacids, antibiotics, or blood thinners) may affect pigment retention or tone

The better your skin condition and protection from UV exposure, the longer your results will last.
